Chapter 7

This is a very eventful chapter when many things happen. First off it begins with Gatsby calling off all of his parties because he is in love with Daisy. As Nick drives over to the Buchanans for lunch he notices that Jordan, Tom, Daisy, and Gatsby are all there also. After being there for lunch Tom knew that Gatsby and Daisy were in love and he confronted them about it. Then they all go to town because it was a hot day out, so they got a hotel room. After Tom and Gatsby are fighting over who Daisy loves, as she was in love with Gatsby at the beginning soon changes and while their arguing Daisy moves closer to Tom. After driving back to the Buchanans house Tom, Nick and Jordan all drive together and notice a body laying on the side of the road. It ended up being Myrtle and it was a hit and run. When the 3 guys get back to the house they noticed how Gatsby was hiding in the bushes.
If Gatsby wasn't the one who hit Myrtle why was he hiding?
