After Myrtles accident Nick couldn't get much rest. He went over to Gatsby's trying to talk him out of loving Daisy, because he just doesn't think its right. But Gatsby keeps telling Nick that he has been in love with her since 1917 and that nothing will change it because she is just so sweet. Then the scene changes over to Mr. Wilson sitting in his office talking to a few guys about Myrtles death and is trying to come to a conclusion about who possibly hit her. He thought about Tom but then realized that Tom was in the car that had seen Myrtle laying on the side of the road. Then Wilson decides to go over to Gatsby's and finds him laying on his air mattress in his pool and shoots him. After he shoots Gatsby he shoots himself. After work Nick goes over to Gatsby's and sees him floating there dead.
