Light and Dark-The right thing to do and wrong thing to do like killing the soldier.
Noise and Silence-The music was on and then when the Germans came it went off.
Youth and Maturity-The corporal/Translator at the end kills someone.
Clean and Dirty-When the soldiers first start fighting their all clean but then at the end when their all done fighting then their dirty and bloody.
The Dead Soldier-Captain John H. Miller, when he died it showed all the guys around him crying and representing the dead soldier would be like how everyone was sad because he did the right thing by fighting for his country.
The Flag-Represents what their fighting for, which would be their country, and freedom.
Courage-I think all the soldiers went through the war, especially in the beginning of the movie how all the men charged at the Germans and didn't back down and duck and hide, or run.
Manhood-When private ryan wouldn't leave the bridge to go home because his crew needed him to stay and he wanted to fight for his country.
Self Preservation-They do whatever they can in order not to die.
Disregard for Human Life-When the German fights with the am. soldier and stabs him.
